I postponed so many visits, so many conversations that I miss now. I did not know how to give her the time she deserved and that feeling weighs on me every day. I will not be able to hug her anymore, but I have promised myself that her memory will not fade away, and with that purpose she was born. RECUÉRDAME.

In one of the photos you'll see here, she appears wearing one of her favorite bags. That bag, which still holds her essence, will be turned into a pillow and a teddy bear, something that will allow me to keep her close, in my own way, and remind me of how much I loved and still love her.

RECUÉRDAME exists for her, but also for all those who feel that time was not enough. It is my way of transforming pain and regret into something beautiful, into a symbol of love that never fades. Each garment we transform is not just fabric; it is history, it is memory, it is love made object.

Through this project, I want to help others to keep close to those they love the most, either to remember those who are gone or to celebrate the ties that bind us to those who are still with us. Because time can be relentless, but memories, when we transform them into something tangible, stay with us forever.
